Benzoyl Peroxide (BPO)has an oxygen radical that penetrates down the pore like liquid bleach, foaming and bubbling to kill bacteria and dry up the impaction. It moves the impaction to the surface to be washed away. BPO 5% is for use on skin with blackheads and small whiteheads. It is not as drying as BPO in higher percentages.

Use on skins with blackheads.
